I'm Zara, and my career aspiration is to become a full-time professional singer, songwriter, and musician. Ideally, I want to become become an International Superstar and earn the 'big bucks,' but if all that I can achieve is a reasonable salary I will still consider this a success.
This aspiration is not a whimsical and unrealistic "pipe dream," it's more of a slow but natural progression from when I began piano lessons at six year old (something that I really enjoyed). Since then, I have incrementally added other instruments, singing, and music recording to my learning regime. Over the past ten years I have had a number of opportunities to play live to audiences, and it is these that truly ignited my passion to become a performing artist.
Being realistic, who knows what my future holds... "all I can do is work hard, seek out opportunities, and try to enjoy the journey"!
