I'm Zara (stage name Chasing Leaves), and I am a full-time professional singer, songwriter, and musician. Ideally, I wish to become become an International Superstar and earn the 'big bucks,' but if all that I can achieve is a reasonable salary (I'm far from this right now), I will still consider myself successful. I am not work shy, so prior to living the multi-millionaire high-life, I am very prepared undertake any type of musical entertainment work that comes my way.
The aspiration to become a professional musician is not a "whimsical and unrealistic pipe dream," it's more of a slow but natural progression from when I began piano lessons at six year old. Since then, I have incrementally added other instruments, singing, and music recording to my learning regime. Over the past eleven years I have had numerous opportunities to play live to audiences, and it is these that both ignited, and sustain, my passion to become a performing artist.
Being realistic, who knows what my future truly holds... "all I can do is work hard, seek out opportunities, and try my very best to enjoy the journey"!
